Award-winning artist, producer, and DJ lau.ra continues to make waves with her prolific output of club anthems. There are release plans every month in 2025 on renowned labels such as DVINE Sounds, Defected, Sola, Nervous, and more - lau.ra has firmly established herself as a powerhouse in the electronic music scene.
Her DJ resume boasts performances at iconic venues and events, including DC-10, Ushuaïa, Glastonbury, Drumsheds, E1, Hollywood Palladium, ADE, and Studio 338. And in 2024 alone she appeared on line-ups alongside industry heavyweights such as Fatboy Slim, DJ EZ, Sam Divine, Idris Elba, Odd Mob, and Sammy Virji, solidifying her reputation as a dynamic performer.
In addition to her performances, lau.ra has delivered standout guest mixes across BBC Radio One for Pete Tong’s Essential Mix and Danny Howard’s Mini Mix, as well as Sarah Story’s Peak Time Mix, Jerimiah Asiamah’s Soundsystem Mix, and Sian Eleri’s Chill Mix. Her collaboration with Monki in 2023 earned her Radio 1's Hottest Record, while her work with ODESZA and Golden Features' project BRONSON achieved gold disc certification.
lau.ra’s music has also been widely featured in syncs across TV, Film and commercials with Netflix's Inventing Anna, NBA 2K, Red Bull, Disney's Good Trouble, ITV's Love Island, Athleta, and INEOS, showcasing her versatility and global appeal. With hundreds of millions of streams, extensive radio play, and high-profile support from DJs like Claptone, Don Diablo, Jamie xx, Arielle Free, Oliver Heldens, Diplo, and Purple Disco Machine, lau.ra is a force to be reckoned with.
Her track Hey Shut Up, released on Unknown To The Unknown’s Hot Haus label, spent over 2 months in Beatport's Top 3 and remains in the Top 50 Bass/Club chart 6 months later. Mike Skinner of The Streets handpicked her track The Danger for their Fabric mix celebrating the label's silver jubilee. They described it as “a sonic journey through the pulsating veins of UK nightlife.”
Beyond her music, lau.ra has created her own club night and community, Wonk, held monthly at The Social in London. Wonk is a back-to-basics club night focused on big tunes in a small basement. With an emphasis on minimal production and maximum vibes, Wonk aims to elevate women, trans, and non-binary DJs and producers while remaining open and welcoming to all with good taste and an open attitude.
Plans for Wonk in 2025 include festival stage takeovers, a UK tour, and further expansion to make quality small scale clubbing accessible to everyone in the face of rising costs in the superclub scene. By providing a safe and supportive space for DJs and producers to test out tunes and connect with peers, lau.ra is not just building a club night—she’s fostering a community.
